(لا خفاء) أن سيدنا وشيخنا أبا العباس مولانا أحمد التجاني الحسني رضي الله عنه ممن أوتي التحقيق، وأعطي كمال المعرفة بهذا الطريق، وخاض من بحر المعارف لججه، وركب منه ثبجه حتى صار فيه إماما راسخا، وطودا شامخا باعه فيه عريض، ومجلسه من روض أريض، حوى من اللطائف حدائق ذات بهجة، واستوعب كيفية السلوك نهجه، واشتمل على دقائق الأسرار العرفانية، وغوامض العلوم الربانية، والحقائق العلية، والأذواق السنية، فإذا تكلم في آية أو حديث سحر الألباب وأتى بالعجب العجاب، وإذا وعظ أثر كلامه ونفذت سهامه، وإذا أرشد إلى مولاه أفاد، وأخذ بمجامع اللب والفؤاد، وانطاع له القلب وانقاد، كلامه هدى ونورة وشفاء للصدور له الإشارات العليا، والعبارات السمية يقرب البعيد للإفهام، ويفحم بالحجة الواضحة أكابر الأعلام، بليغ الخطاب مصيب للصواب لا تعوزه عن مراده عبارة ولا تنبهم عن السامعين منه إشارة، كل يحسب الكلام صادقا عليه، ومتوجها إليه ينطق بجوامع الكلم وبدائع الحكم، ويدل على الله أبدا ويجمع عليه، ويدعو بالحكمة والموعظة الحسنة إليه، يؤيد كلامه بالكتاب والسنة، ويجلي بنورهما كل دجنة، وإذا حضر مجلسه أهل العلم لا يخلون منه غالبا أظهر لهم ما خفي منها عليهم، وأشدهم ما كان غائبا يتكلم في طريق القوم مما يبهر العقول من جواهر الحكم الوهبية لا من جواهر النقول، فيتكلم على المحبة والحب والمحبوب والسلوك والجذب والفناء والبقاء، وعلى عالم الملك والملكوت والجبروت وعالم الروح، وعلى الكشف الأكبر والأصغر، وعلى أسرار أسماء الله الحسني والصفات العلى وعلى الاسم الأعظم وأسراره، وما احتوى عليه من العلوم وأنواره، وطريق معرفتها وآثارها ومؤثراتها وتعريفاتها ومقتضياتها وأحكامها ولوازمها، وما يراد منها وبها، وعلى أحوال القيامة ومواطنها، على طريقة أهل الكشف تارة وتارة بما ورد في الكتاب والسنة، وتارة ينسب ذلك لبعض أكابر تسترا لحاله رضي الله عنه، ويتكلم على عيوب النفس، ودسائسها ورعوناتها، ويتكلم في ترك التدبر والاختيار ومنازعة الأقدار وفي شكر النعمة، وشهود الفعل من الله كما يعلم بعض ذلك مما تقدم في الباب قبل هذا.
